Wind Damage Roof Repair in Portales, NM

Wind Damage Roof Repair in Portales, NM

Wind damage roof repair restores shingles, flashing and ridge components that high winds have lifted, loosened or torn away. Portales, NM Storm Damage Roof Repair handles this work throughout Portales, NM, and it is the most common storm call we take.

Wind does not attack a roof evenly. It finds edges. Uplift concentrates along rakes, eaves and ridges, which is why damage almost always starts at a perimeter and works inward. A single shingle that breaks its seal becomes a lever for the next gust, and one loose tab at the eave can unzip a whole course by morning.

That progressive failure is what makes prompt repair worth the trouble. Fix three shingles this week and it is a short visit. Leave it and the same slope needs a section rebuilt.

We look for creased shingles as well as missing ones. A shingle folded back by wind and dropped flat again looks fine from the ground and has a fracture line through it that will fail. Adjusters accept creasing as damage when it is documented, so we photograph every instance.

Repairs get matched to the existing roof as closely as the product line allows, and we reseal the surrounding courses.
