Post Storm Roof Inspection in Portales, NM

Post Storm Roof Inspection in Portales, NM

A post storm roof inspection is a documented assessment of a roof after a specific weather event, carried out while the insurance claim window is still open. Portales, NM Storm Damage Roof Repair provides these across Portales, NM, and timing is the whole point.

Most carriers require a claim within twelve months of the date of loss, and some allow less. Storm damage that goes unreported inside that window becomes wear and tear as far as the insurer is concerned, whoever caused it. We have inspected plenty of roofs with obvious hail bruising that nobody could claim for, because the storm was three years back.

The inspection covers every slope for impact and uplift, the soft metals for corroborating dents, all penetrations and flashing, and the attic underneath for water that has already entered. You get dated photographs, strike counts per slope, and a written scope.

We will also tell you when there is nothing to claim. A roof that took a storm and came through fine is a good outcome, and reporting it produces a denied claim on your record for no benefit. Not every inspection should end in a job.

If a storm has passed over Portales, NM recently, get it on record.
